Nestled at the foot of Ice Mountain and bordered by the North River, Mountainaire is the perfect getaway to do just that. This designer luxury log cabin will dazzle you from the moment you enter. Inside you’ll find four bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a gourmet kitchen, a huge entertainment space and more.
The well appointed wrap around porch offers four distinct spaces to take in the wild, wonderful WV views. The lower deck houses a heated plunge pool (early May - late September) and a hot tub for colder months. You’ll also find an outdoor living space with a fireable, and even a place to grill.
Mountainaire is designed to inspire you to reconnect with yourself, your friends and family and nature and to do so in ultimate style and luxury.

Stephen and Mary have done a lot to make sure every detail is accounted for in many expected and unexpected ways. There's of course everything you need to know to make the visit enjoyable and for things to work as expected but many of the best parts are just making the cabin feel cozy and detailed so even a weekend retreat feels like a well earned vacation. Stephen and Mary’s lovely cabin far exceeded our expectations. The place was spotless. There were so many indoor/outdoor games. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need with top notch appliances. The bathrooms were all amazing. The bedrooms were beautiful and comfortable. My kids absolutely loved the basement with the built in bunks, darts, gas fireplace, pool table, cooler for drinks and movie projector. The deck was amazing. We loved all the seating. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. We loved the river access, the fire pit, the tree house and the hike up Ice Mountain...

Hiking Trail
The Ice Mountain Preserve is a wonderful 149 acre hiking trail. The entrance is located just a short walk from our front door. The hike to the mountain top takes on average 60 minutes.

We Are Dog Friendly
We welcome your well behaved fur baby. Must be crated when left alone and leashed when outside. Be sure to select the pet fee when booking.
